Micro Mini Highland Cow from Pure Passions Farm in Cleveland Ohio

Pure Passions Farm

is committed to maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, ethical treatment, and responsible animal-assisted experiences. Our programs prioritize the physical and emotional wellbeing of the animals first, while providing safe, educational, and positive experiences for our guests. We believe animals should never be treated as entertainment commodities, and every experience we offer is designed around the comfort, dignity, and natural behavior of the animals.

  1. Commitment to Animal Welfare
Animals living at Pure Passions Farm including micro mini Highland cows, alpacas, goats, babydoll
sheep, miniature donkeys, chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs, and other farm animals are raised and cared for
using humane and responsible husbandry practices. Their health, safety, and comfort are our highest
priority. Animals receive routine veterinary care, appropriate nutrition, clean housing, and daily
enrichment. Guest programs represent only a small portion of the animals’ daily lives.
  2. Ethical Animal-Assisted Experiences
Pure Passions Farm does not participate in exploitative animal practices. Our animals are not forced to
perform tricks, unnatural behaviors, or extended interactions for entertainment. Experiences are designed
to be educational, therapeutic, and respectful to the animals involved.
  3. Positive Socialization
Many animals including cows, goats, alpacas, and donkeys are raised in a highly social farm environment
and are gently exposed to people from an early age. Because of this upbringing, many animals naturally
approach visitors out of curiosity and comfort.
  4. Voluntary Participation
All guest interactions are voluntary for the animals. Animals may approach guests, move away, or rest at
any time. Handlers monitor each animal and remove them whenever rest or space is needed.
  5. Transportation and Event Care
For off-site programs, animals travel in vehicles designed for livestock safety and comfort. Animals are
supervised at all times, provided water as needed, and events are structured to prevent fatigue before
    returning to the farm.
  6. Monitoring Animal Wellbeing
Handlers monitor animals for signs of stress, fatigue, or overstimulation and adjust interactions
    immediately if needed.

Our Ethical Commitment

Animals at Pure Passions Farm are valued members of the farm family, not tools for entertainment. Our
mission is to create experiences that educate, inspire compassion, and strengthen the human-animal
connection while maintaining the highest standards of care.
